What Love Is, a 7 session study of 1, 2, & 3 John, encourages you to remain faithful to the truth. You will be challenged to look at contrasting themes such as walking in the light instead of darkness, truth versus lies and deception, loving God more than loving the world, and the meaning of true fellowship and community rather than shallowness. Study begins April 29.

Have you ever wanted to be a part of helping children in foster care but do not feel like direct care is where God is leading you? Do you have a foster child in your home? If you answered yes to either of these questions come join us to hear about the important role of Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). Find out what your should expect from your CASA as they advocated for the best interest of the child.
Training is from 6:30-8:30pm. We will provide training certificates. As always childcare is provided as a gift to you from The Avenue Church. We ask that you register your children by clicking the red banner. Please feed your children before they come. Because of food allergies and food issues for some of our children no snacks will be served to the children.
They know how to do camping for kids! Sabine Creek Ranch will host this special week for our church. A week filled with vibrant, energetic, heart-felt worship, age-appropriate messages that clearly communicate the good news of Jesus to kids, and all the fun they can handle! This month Interchange will meet and watch a video, "Closure: A Documentary about Adoption". This is a documentary about a transracial adoptee who finds her birth mother, and meets the rest of the family who didn't know she existed, including her birth father. A story about identity, the complexities of trans-racial adoption, and most importantly, closure. Click the red banner for childcare reservations.
